Mobile Unit

Majority of indian citizens in remote rural areas.For them medical aid is unaccessable because due to poor transport facilites it is diffcult for them to reach medical center which are mostly situated in cities.To bring the desired aye care facility at the door of needy rural patients hospital is organising weekly free rural eye camps.In these diagnostic and treatment camps patients are examined,operatble cataract patients are selected, brought to base hosptail and operation are done with latest technology.Actually these are comperhensive eye camps where along with cataract operation, community assessment for other blinding diseases like Vatmin A deficiency,school screening,eye health education program is conductaed.

OUR AMBISIOUS TARGET IS TO CREATE 100 CATARACT FREE VILLAGES AND TO EDUCATE RURAL MASSES ABOUT HYGIENE AND NEED FOR EYE HEALTH.

School Screening Program

Beside Cataract other important reason for blindless are refractive errors,corneal opacities due to infection and Vitamin A deficiency.Unfortunately vicyims are mostly yong children Therefore to detect eye aliments at early stage massive school screening program was lanched to exmine all children of community upto higher secondry standard.Success og program promptede to, extend it to adjoining rural communities.Free treatment is provided to children suffering from refractive error,Vitamin A deficiency and trachamatous infectiom.
